Talk:Greg Scott
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Are any of the notable quotes really notable? I'm tempted to remove them, in a general move towards making this page more encyclopedic and less a fan page (despite the fact that I am a big fan!) --OpenToppedBus - Talk to the driver 13:41, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- They're about as notable as Greg Scott himself. There's nothing encyclopaedic about him...User:Mr.bonus 23:41, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

- How would anyone feel about removing the whole of the trivia section? --OpenToppedBus - Talk to the driver 08:42, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
There's a minor edit war going on regarding which fan site this links to. As it's not obvious that one site is any more notable than any other, I propose to delete all links to fan sites. --OpenToppedBus - Talk to the driver 10:42, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. Nothing of worth on any of the fansites linked, in fact. SaltyWater 11:14, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Further to all the above, I've now removed a "Memorable moments" section - as with the "notable quotes" removed earlier, none of it seems appropriate for an encyclopedia (especially when unsourced). --OpenToppedBus - Talk to the driver 17:04, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 14th or 15th?
I'm almost tempted just to revert in a deliberate attempt to make it onto the lamest edit wars ever, but I'll bring it here instead. Scott's last appearance on Quizmania was on a live programme which started at 22:00 last Sunday and ran through until 01:00 - in other words, the early hours of Monday morning. I wasn't actually watching but I'm fairly sure he appeared on screen after midnight. Should we therefore say that his career on that show ran to January 14th or January 15th? --OpenToppedBus - Talk to the driver 17:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think 15 since that was the last day it was broadcast. And he was there at the end of the show with Debbie to show he montage. AxG (First edit day today) (talk) (sign here) 17:45, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
