From what I know, the 99 wasn't choosen after Wayne Gretzky, it was atributed to him on his "karting liscense" when he registered. He probably kept it because of Gretzky etc. but it's now the reason why he had it in the first place

Can anyone confirm this?


i've never edited here so pardon me if i was supposed to start a new thread. i am a member of the go kart club that greg moore started in. many people in the club knew him. he chose the number 99 because he was the 99th member to join the westwood karting club. i know this to be a fact.
