[edit] Informal Tone

This article is written very informally, such as mentioning that it is hard to find a parking spot and that the school has an excellent teaching staff. It also contains several insignificant facts such as the "Smoke Shack." FastFoodKnight 23:31, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

The first paragraph is subjective and disputable at best, e.g. "most known for its outstanding Social Science division".

[edit] GRCC Culture

This section is written like an essay and could use heavy revising. Also is the last paragraph about the bus routes really necessary to the article? --Jfowler27 06:25, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] References/Original Research

It seems that the author of this article either is including original research or are not citing their sources. --Jfowler27 06:25, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alumni Error

I don't know what this is all about but Tracy Mcgrady and Nate Robinson are NOT GRCC alumni. Tracy Mcgrady went into the NBA draft with no college and Nate robinson got a football scholarship at U/Wash. out of high school at rainier beach high school. This should be removed. yes it would be cool to be able to say they went there but it is completely untrue. —Bgrddg253 10:06, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Alumni Error Error

I do apoligize for my somment made about Nate Robinson not having gone to Green River Community College. I was wrong and right. The Nate Robinson that plays for the New York Knicks and former Washington Husky did not play for Green River Community College Basketball, however, there was a student who played from 2001-2002 named Nate Robinson. His picture can be seen in the weight room facility's "Wall of Fame". Which is of athletes who displayed exceptional athletic ability and sportsmanship and who represented the college in a proactive way. Note also though that i have not seen this as the case so far for Tracy McGrady. —Bgrddg253 10:06, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Are you absolutely sure that the Nate Robinson that played for UW, and the Knicks is not the same Nate Robinson that played for GRCC? The picture on the weight room wall looks exactly like the NBA player Nate Robinson, and my weight lifting instructor said it was the same guy. He said he didn't have good enough grades out of highschool to go to UW, so he went to Green River for a year. Do you have any proof that it is a different guy? Because everything I have seen point to it being the same guy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.238.129.6 (talk) 06:58, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Complete rewrite

A lot of the information previously in this article was either unsubstantial, had improper tone for Wikipedia, or was not referenced. I tried to make the article more concise and keep the information more relevant than previous versions. —Jfowler27 07:12, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism cleared mostly...

I'm sorry guys, the school isn't affiliated with SuperMan, Fred Flintstone, or Rick James king of punk to my knowledge. I've removed this, and the two remarks of "Men are outnumbered here :D" "The food is good :D." And I'm clearing up the school's title (Which has had "na casa do meu pai" added to it. Google identifies it as Portuguese).Getfightted (talk) 01:38, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
