Talk:Green Gas
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Despite the supposed evidence that green gas is propane, I don't think it's quite proven yet, so I'd like to change this section to reflect the fact that don't quite know the truth of this matter.
Also there are new dot approved cans for Green Gas. The cans have a weak spot in the bottom so that it will just blow out of there rather then just explode. The can that I have here is UHC Power Green Gas and is 1000 ml as opposed to the 1100 ml cans before. Apparently part of the new law is the smaller size.
Imnotlaughin: I'm not sure of the proper formating of these discussion pages or how I'm supposed to edit them so I'm sorry, in advance, for messing this up.
The newer canisters of "Green Gas" claim to be composed of CH2FCF3CH3 which is an impossible compound. However it is likely that "Green Gas" is a mixture of Freon (CH2FCF3), a common refrigerant, and Ethane (CH3), used in this case to remove moisture buildup.
I haven't seen any hard evidence to support the position this page currently takes and I suggest revision. Imnotlaughin (talk) 11:50, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
