[edit] Which island

OK, which island is it?

Apparently Appel actually bought some land, so it isn't just a vacuous project; but there aren't all that many islands off of Athens (as opposed to elsewhere in the Aegean.) Septentrionalis 21:25, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

So we still don't know which island. Does anyone know? We really need sources. — Донама 02:37, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
A news article archived at http://www.globalpolicy.org/nations/launder/regions/2004/0122island.htm states that it is an island called Patroklos. -- Eaglesight 00:38, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Added to article; I think the factoid that this is not the Patroclus belongs here - if only so mistaken op-ed pieces don't start turning up in The Jerusalem Post; but I will mark it trivia.Septentrionalis 14:52, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
As far as I can tell, this is the only thing that happened on the island, which is uninhabited, since the third century BCE, so an article would probably be un warranted. This may, come to think of it, be an argument that that the land development scheme was a pure scam...Septentrionalis 04:59, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Move request

Propose to move to Greek island affair. The title shouldn't start with "the" -- it is superfluous and makes linking to it tedious, ie. ...the [[The Greek island affair|Greek island affair]]... Please put support or oppose below. Thanks. — Донама 02:36, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Done. —Nightstallion (?) Seen this already? 09:38, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stubification

This has been left a collection of links, instead of an article based on the links. BLP requires removal of unsourced negative information, not sourced info. Please be more careful. I have checked the links, to see what they support; I did temove one unsupported sentence. Septentrionalis 05:10, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
