[edit] Move
Do we actually think that it was a good idea to move Technohead to here? The duo didn't have any commercial success under this moniker whereas they had number 1s aplenty under their Technohead name and several hits under the Tricky Disco and GTO names. Triangle e 15:58, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
The title should match the main topic of the article. The very first sentence starts "Greater Than One is an English pop/techno/gabba band...", and the first section is about Greater Than One. If the title is to be Technohead, then the article should focus on that, including the first sentence. Spylab 16:13, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Then you should have altered the first sentence! Not moved the bloody article! Triangle e 19:58, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- I agree the title should match the first words. I also agree we should decide whether the article is on Technohead, or Greater Than One, before any more moving. I'm happy with either - you're right Technohead is more well known, but I like to write things chronologically and I found that difficult with Technohead as the title. I don't think there's enough material (yet) to justify separate articles on both, or on Newman or Wells separately. Which leads me to their names - I think they should be bold, to show that this article is the article for the two people as well as all their guises. Finally does it need a separate Brainwashed link when it's already in the references? Maybe we could put 'official site' (although I'm not certain whether it is) in the references bit. - Maybe the name of the article should be Lee Newman and Michael Wells. It would encapsulate all their pseudonyms in one go and dispell the chronology worries. There is nowhere near enough material to justify articles on each act and I don't think that there ever will be. There is notoriously little to no biographical information about the act on the web. Michael Wells is very cagey about giving away personal information and with Lee having passed away 12 years ago, it looks unlikely that we'll ever get much more info on the duo than is already in the public domain. - I think they are known best as Greater Than One, as it was their first incarnation, with the pseudonyms coming out afterwards. Greater Than One was most often mentioned in articles/reviews when they came out with a pseudonym. But I'm thinking Lee Newman and Michael Wells might be the best title for the article, with all other band names redirected to it. I'm also not sure if Signs of Chaos and Signs Ov Chaos is enough to warrant two different sub categories in the discography, although GTO and Greater Than One were distinctly different from each other... - Are you by any chance from the US? I ask this because there is no way that they are best known as Greater Than One. They had number 1s all over Europe under the name Technohead, further UK Top 75 hits under the name GTO and a UK top 20 hit under the name Tricky Disco. Their stuff under the name Greater Than One was limited edition niche music that few outside the scene they were producing in would know about. Triangle e 09:50, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

- I'm not from the US. I guess I followed their career so I was always aware of their side projects after the fact. I concur that their chart success was from hit singles, and never from any albums, or really, from whatever name they were using, it was more focused on the single at the time. I did not move the site, instead I made redirects for all of the various monikers to point to this article, which was Technohead at the time. I think the renaming has since made those redirects obsolete, as those did not get updated. Dubkiller 22:39, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

What do you guys reckon then? Move it all back to Technohead, and change the opening paragraph? (Chorleypie 19:16, 18 June 2007 (UTC))
- I'd say name it Michael Newman and Lee Wells, with all the various names redirected to it. Dubkiller 03:22, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Make sure it's Lee Newman and Michael Wells if this move takes place! Triangle e 08:30, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- My bad :o Luckily, I'm not going to change it :)
