[edit] Gettysburg Address?

The original show (from the 1965 World's Fair) was an amalgation of various speeches and included a portion of his "Address Before the Young Men's Lyceum of Springfield." Was the speech changed/re-programmed to the Gettysburg Address when the show was updated in the 90s?

  • Yes, originally the Lincoln speech contained numerous lines from some of his less-well-known works and the actual "pre-story" (as opposed to the soldier fighting and getting shot at Gettysburg) was different; a rehab sometime in the 80s or 90s (not sure of the actual date) altered the guest's "story" and the speech Lincoln gives.

[edit] Writing style?

" Moses was astonished at the possibilities and told Walt that he HAD to have this figure at the Fair."

Assuming the article is meant to remain neutral, a rewrite would be preferable? Also if this is an actual quote, it should be edited so in the article, as it isn't of present.
