Following an editorial dispute over the idea of an "emerging energy superpower", this page was created to provide a place for those states just under the status of an energy superpower but more influential than small regional energy powers. Expert commentary, energy production, and energy reserve sources should be added where appropriate.

[edit] Definition of Great Energy Power
The definition is just preliminary, and can be reworked as we go along. However, since this definition is meant to describe a certain type of energy producing state, changes should be moderate in nature. Drakeguy 02:58, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
