Located in the Savannah Historic District, the Green-Meldrim house was built during the 1850s. During the Civil War, General William Tecumseh Sherman stayed here after his March to the Sea. The house also exemplifies Gothic revival architecture, with detailed ironwork that is commonly found in Savannah.
