[edit] Summary
These are examples of regional/municipal road signage in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.
The image on the left is a "flowerpot" sign for Municipal Road 55 taken at the corner of The Kingsway (Municipal Road 55) and Bancroft Drive (Municipal Road 70) facing eastbound and shows an example of the old regional road signage prior to the city's amalgamation in 2001. The image on the right is a post-amalgamation "flowerpot" sign and directional shield for Municipal Road 80 taken at the corner of Highway 17 (Southwest Bypass) and Long Lake Road (Municipal Road 80), facing southbound.
Both photographs were taken by Scani on April 11, 2007, before being cropped and combined into one image for comparison purposes in The GIMP 2.0.5.
