The Grey-chested Illadopsis (Kakamega poliothorax) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is the only species in the genus Kakamega.
It is found in Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Uganda.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
