The Grey-backed Hawk (Leucopternis occidentalis) is a species of bird of prey in the Accipitridae family. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
