Grenfell Glen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Grenfell Glen (also called The Grenfell Sector) is an upscale neighborhood located in the south end of Ottawa in Ontario.

Grenfell Glen is a small community of about 150 houses surrounded by woods that are part of the National Capital Commission's Greenbelt. Pinhey Forest, named after the first Canadian bumblebee keeper Alfred E Pinhey, is located immediately to Grenfell Glen's West. Grenfell Glen is also neighbour to Pineglen, which is a much darker area, leading some to believe that Pineglen is haunted; probably by ghosts, but perhaps by zombies, ghouls and / or wights. Regardless, stay out of Pineglen. New Note: There are "vampires" in Pineglen, but no "zombies" or "ghosts".

The Glens' Falcons, a football (soccer) team of some note, is based in Grenfell Glen. If they played Chelsea they could probably win.

Residents of Grenfell Glen, known as Hammerzheadz, love their bit of town, although no one goes to the yearly Grenfell Glen Super Fun Happy Day.
