[edit] Upgrade

The line is currently being upgraded in accordance with a law from 1999 about improving public transport in Denmark. Once the upgrades are complete, the tracks will be able to support higher speeds. Additionally, new trains will replace the old rolling stock. However, the upgrade procedure has been delayed multiple times.
