[edit] Career

Of late, Weisman is notable for the question and answer forum he participates in with Gargoyles fans online, often revealing his intended plans for the show. He announced on the forum a deal with Disney to continue the Gargoyles storyline as a comic book produced by Slave Labor Graphics beginning in 2006. The first issue of the bi-monthly book sold out its initial print run. (see Gargoyles (comics))

Weisman is not new to writing comics, having spent some time at DC as an editor and co-writing Captain Atom with Cary Bates. Bates later wrote several episodes of Gargoyles. Weisman is also a voice director and was once a development executive at Disney. Weisman recently produced and story edited the second season of W.I.T.C.H., which is based on the comic book of the same name. He's currently supervising producer of The Spectacular Spider-Man for 2008.

In Ask Greg, Weisman has mentioned that he will be writing an upcoming miniseries featuring Red Tornado for DC Comics.

[edit] Other Work

While not full time, Greg has written episodes for the following shows:

A parody of Gargoyles later appeared in a Weisman-penned story in JLA Showcase #1.
