Greg Rohan

Greg Rohan is the president of Dallas, Texas-based auction house Heritage Auction Galleries. In April 2006, Rohan's firm brokered the sale of an 1804 silver dollar for $2.5 million.[1] In December 2006, Rohan handled the sale of a rare "Grand Watermelon" $1,000 dollar bill, which also went for more than two million dollars.[2] In December 2007, a misprinted postage stamp, showing an upside-down Curtiss JN-4 biplane, sold for $825,000, in a transaction overseen by Rohan and his firm.[3]
Rohan is co-author, with James L. Halperin, of The Collectors Estate Handbook. The book won the Robert Friedberg Award of the Professional Numismatists Guild in 2001.
