Greg Parke (DJ)

Greg Parke is an award winning and former UK/Irish National Radio presenter.

Parke was born in Larne, County Antrim, the youngest of three sons. His first radio broadcast was in 1985 through his own hobby station. He was heard on pirate stations from 1991 until he launched his own professional pirate station (Energy Radio) on 1994-10-01 broadcasting on 99.3fm in County Meath, Ireland.

Since then Parke has worked in the industry from stations in Berlin to local Irish & UK stations to International station Atlantic 252. He is currently "Group Head of Music" for the Q-Radio Network, Northern Ireland, along with being Breakfast Show Host on Q102.9 in Derry, Northern Ireland.

His career includes playing in some top night clubs. He retired from playing live in 2002. He is single and lives just outside Londonderry city. He won Best Breakfast Show 2005 and was recently quoted as saying that he would like to launch an internet station.
