Greg Mackie

Gregory Alan "Greg" Mackie (OAM) is a South Australian who has worked to promote the arts in South Australia, and since 2004 been Executive Director of Arts SA. He was a councilor with the Adelaide City Council from 2000-03 and unsuccessfully stood for Lord Mayor in 2003.

He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his "service to the community through the promotion of the arts, particularly the Adelaide Festival of Ideas".[1]

He is also a patron of the "The Don Dunstan Foundation"[2], he has also been director of Imprints Books since 1984.
