Greg Hill is the guitarist for the electronic-rock band Mute Math. Originally from Springfield, Missouri, Greg met Paul Meany of the band Earthsuit when they were touring in Greg's hometown. Greg later moved to New Orleans and joined Paul Meany's church and played with Earthsuit for a while.

When the band later fell apart, the members stayed in touch and eventually saw a new creative relationship develop, culminating in the formation of Mute Math in 2003.
