Gregory T. Farshtey is an American writer, best known for his work on the Bionicle series of novels (2004-present) and the Bionicle comics (2001-present).

Farshtey is the author of 21 published BIONICLE books, four published EXO-FORCE books, and a small number of Bionicle guidebooks. Prior to beginning work on this series, he had three published novels: The River of God (1992), Hell's Feast (1994) and Demon's Dream (1996), as well as two textbooks for children. He has also authored or co-authored over 35 roleplaying game books, as well as designed the roleplaying Shatterzone and Bloodshadows universes.
He is currently employed as the Editor in Chief for the Community Education Direct division of the LEGO Company.
