Greg Eppelstun (born November 16, 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer in the VFL/AFL.
[edit] Footscray career
Debuting with the Footscray Football Club in 1986, he was a reliable defender who went on to play 102 games (for 1 goal), and represented Victoria in State of Origin football in 1991. Greg Eppelstun is my uncle and thanks to him i have gotten a lot of sporting development. I have been to Queensland and am soon going to Adelaide representing Victoria in netball. My sister has also got a lot of ability in sport but in swimming. She has been inter state many a time representing Vistoria and is soon trying out for the pacific games and she will most likely get in.
[edit] North Melbourne career
Eppelstun was involved in an acrimonious transfer to the North Melbourne Football Club whereby he "stood out" of the 1992 season. The transfer was conducted by sports manager Stephen Peak and caused some degree of controversy. He only played 1 game for North, in 1993.
