Gregory "Greg" Doland is a fictional character on ITV's Emmerdale. He is played by Shaun Prendergast.

On April 30 2008 it was announced Greg Doland would be leaving Emmerdale in November 2008.

Greg was first seen at the hospital when his wife Mel went into labour at the same time as Laurel Thomas. They had a baby boy, named Arthur. Laurel's husband Ashley gave the Dolands support and the two couple became friends. Both the couple babies were baptized at the same time by Bishop George Postlethwaite.

Unbeknowst to the Dolands, Ashley began to tire of the couple after one too many visits. Greg and Mel became more frequently seen in the village when Greg and Jack Sugden came to an arrangement for the renovatation of Annie's Cottage. After Jack finally brought an end to his marriage with Diane on Christmas Day he decided to sell Annie's Cottage. Greg and Mel jumped at the chance to put in an offer for Annie's.

When Laurel and Ashley lost Daniel through cot death, Greg and Mel thought about what could have happened to their own son. During a period when Laurel was estranged from Ashley, Greg tried to comfort her and she kissed him. A guilt-ridden Laurel returned to her husband and she and Greg promised to keep quiet about what had happened.

When Hilary Potts started to question Arthur's true parentage, all four parents were forced to take DNA Tests. They proved that a baby swap had occured. In the episode aired Thursday 5th May 2008 Arthur was passed over to Laurel and Ashley, leaving Greg and Melanie heartbroken.
