Greg Christian

Greg Christian is the bassist for the American thrash metal band Testament. He was an original member, back when the band was still known as Legacy. Greg recorded many of the albums including The Legacy, The New Order, Practice What You Preach, Souls of Black, The Ritual, and Low. He also played on the live album Return to the Apocalyptic City, which also contained the rare song, "Reign of Terror" and Live at the Filmore which includes three acoustic tracks ("The Legacy", Trail of Tears and "Return to Serenity". He currently plays a Tobiasand a Musicman Bongo through Ampeg SVT heads and 8 x 10 Cabs. He has however most recently started using a Fender Jazz Bass which he recorded most of the new album "Formation of Damnation" (RELEASE DATE APRIL,29) 2008. He joined back up with Testament on their reunion tour in 2005 after a 10-year separation from the band and continues to tour with them at the present. While Greg was on that 10-year break he formed "Flange" with Chris Contos and Dave Lopez. Also Pushed with John Dette which music industry pro predicted to be the new big thing (had they stuck together He joined a band named Havochate based in New York City which he left after his first album with the band in 2005 but was nominated for a Grammy. He is currently working on a new album featuring his material in a side band he founded.[citation needed] And recently finished up the new Testament album.
