Gregory Earl Boyd (born September 15, 1952) is a former American football defensive lineman who played seven seasons in the National Football League.
Mr. Boyd also achieved fame by wrestling in the AWA as the fan-favorite "Rocky Mountain Thunder", or "Rocky Mt. Thunder". He was also referred to as "Big Thunder". In a classic match, he defeats "The Surfer" with one of the worst finishing maneuvers of all time, a snapmare.
