The Greenwood Union Cemetery is located in Rye, New York and Harrison, New York. The first cemetery on this site was organized in 1837, with significant expansions in the 1860s and early 1900s. [1] A small corner of the cemetery, located near the entrance ramp for I-95, contains graves of Civil War soldiers of African decent.
