Greenon High School is a public high school in Springfield, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Greenon Local Schools district. Attendance rate last year was 94.3% compared to the state average of 94.1%. Graduation rate was 93.2% compared to the state average of 86.1%.

In 2006, 95.9% of students at Greenon High School were white, 0.7 % were African-American, 0.7 % were Asian,1.8 % were Multi-Racial.

Greenon HS uses the Ohio Graduation test for grades 10 and 11. Students must pass this test to graduate high school.

For the 06-07 School year, 92.8 % of Greenon's 10th grade students passed the Reading portion of the Ohio Graduation Test; 89.2% passed the Mathematics portion; 94.6 passed the writing portion; 86.2% passed the Science portion; 83.8% passed the Social Studies portion.

Greenon has a phoenominal bowling team.

  • Greenon High School is Division III in football. Greenon's colors are black, white and red and the Knight is their mascot. Greenon's major rivals are the Shawnee Braves of Springfield, Ohio, and the Kenton Ridge Cougars. Greenon is a member of Central Buckeye Conference (CBC). The conference is divided into two divisions: The Kenton Trail Division, which includes Bellefontaine, Stebbins, Shawnee, Tecumseh, Tippecanoe, Kenton Ridge. The Mad River Division includes Benjamin Logan, Graham, Greenon, Urbana, Northwestern, Indian Lake.

The most prestigious greenon high school sports programs is the cross country team. It has over 16 conference titles, compared to their football teams 3(two of which were three way ties), and an impressive 8 disctrict titles.
