Green River (North Carolina)

The Green River is a river located in Henderson County and Polk County, North Carolina. It is a tributary of the Broad River.

Parts of the Green River are popular spots for kayaking, including the Narrows of the Green.

The Peter Guice Memorial Bridge, on Interstate 26, carries vehicular traffic 225 feet above the river below. It is the highest Interstate bridge in the Eastern U.S.
