[edit] GET Mission Statement
Green Enterprise Toronto (GET) works to strengthen our economies, communities and environments in the Toronto region through our support of the independent business sector. We encourage citizens and businesses to produce and to buy based on “local living economy” values— strong communities, a healthy environment, meaningful employment, buying local first, and fair trade.
[edit] GET Vision Statement
GET envisions a future for Toronto in which green job opportunities abound, particularly in the booming fields of local agro-ecological food production, green building and energy-efficient renovation. Toronto is home to all kinds of product design innovation and production that is demanded to support the ongoing conversion of the industrial base to regional self-reliance and interdependence. Throughout the thriving city region it’s easy and affordable for people to work and play, taste, design and ride local and green.
