The Green-tailed Jacamar (Galbula galbula) is a species of bird in the Galbulidae family. It is found in Brazil and the north Amazon Basin; also Colombia, the Guianas, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
