The Green-capped Tanager (Tangara meyerdeschauenseei) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Bolivia and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and rural gardens.
