The Green-barred Woodpecker (Colaptes melanochloros) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
