Greedy Smurf

Greedy Smurf is a male fictional character from the Smurfs.

Greedy Smurf is, as his name says, greedy and is almost always shown eating cakes and other pastry (and less often, fruits).

In the cartoon, his character was combined with that of Chef Smurf, where he enjoys baking and cooking, but eventually ends up eating his own creations, hence the name. He wears a chef's hat and apron in the comics but a handkerchief as an eating bib, instead of an apron, in the cartoon.

In the cartoon series, Greedy gets hold of a magic crown which allows him to put the other smurfs under his control. Known then as Master Smurf, he becomes leader of the smurf village for a time. It was only after Papa Smurf, having found another crown, tricked Greedy into losing his crown that peace and normality returned again to the village.
