"Greatest Day" was the fifth single released from Prodigal Sista, a studio album by British soul singer Beverley Knight. The track became her biggest charting single up to that point when it peaked at #14 in Britain, and still remaims one of her best known hits. The track, which was re-recorded by Mike Spencer to move the sound away from the original album version to a more disco feel, was nominated for Best Single at the 1999 MOBO Awards.
