The Greater Antillean Bullfinch (Loxigilla violacea) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family. It is found in Bahamas, Cayman Islands, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, and Turks and Caicos Islands. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.
