The Great Rufous Woodcreeper (Xiphocolaptes major) is a species of bird in the Dendrocolaptidae family, the woodcreepers. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
