Great Masters of the Order of the Bath

The British Sovereign is the Sovereign of the Order of the Bath. The next-most senior member of the Order is the Great Master, of which there have been nine:

- 1767–1827: Prince Frederick, The Duke of York and Albany
- 1827–1830: William, The Duke of Clarence and St. Andrews (later King William IV)

- 1843–1861: Prince Albert, The Prince Consort

- 1897–1901: HRH Albert Edward, The Prince of Wales (later HM King Edward VII)
- 1901–1942: HRH Prince Arthur, The Duke of Connaught and Strathearn
- 1942–1974: HRH Prince Henry, The Duke of Gloucester
- 1974–present: HRH Prince Charles,The Prince of Wales
