Great Gonerby
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Great Gonerby is a large village of around 825 houses located less than 1 mile west of Grantham in Lincolnshire.
The urban sprawl from Grantham in the 1990s has meant that the village is separated from the town by only a few hundred meters. Great Gonerby is served by a pub, a social club, a village shop and post office. To the north is the A1 and Gonerby Moor.
The village is 360ft above sea level and overlooks the Vale of Belvoir to the west and Grantham to the south. The parish church is dedicated to St Sebastian. The village pub is the Recruiting Sergeant on the High Street.
