Great Fire of 1910

The Great Fire (also known as the Big Blowup and the Big Burn) of 1910 was a forest fire which burned about three million acres (12,000 km²) in northeast Washington, northern Idaho, and western Montana over two days (August 20 and 21) and killed 86 people. It is believed to be the largest fire in recorded U.S. history.
