Great Evil Beast

The Great Evil Beast is a powerful cosmic entity that appeared in the DC Comics Swamp Thing storyline, "American Gothic."
In the storyline, the Great Evil Beast rises out of the darkness and prepares to invade Heaven. The angels are helpless to prevent it, even though many demons had sided with them. Several powerful characters, such as the Spectre, Phantom Stranger and Dr. Fate tried to fight against it, but were all easily defeated.
Eventually, the invasion stops after the Great Evil Beast shakes hands belong to another cosmic entity, presumably the Presence.
