The Great Berlin Wheel is a proposed 185 metre (607 foot) Observation wheel to be located near the Zoologischer Garten Berlin (Berlin zoological garden) in Berlin, Germany. It is being built by the Great Wheel Corporation, who expect it to be operational by the end of 2009.[1]
Construction was due to begin in 2007. If it is completed before the proposed 208 metres (680 ft) Great Beijing Wheel, it will inherit the title of world's tallest Observation wheel from the current record holder, the 165 metres (540 ft) Singapore Flyer.
