Greased Lightnin’ is a shuttle roller coaster located at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California.
This coaster is currently not in use. When it opened in 1977 as Tidal Wave at Marriott's Great America, it was among the first Schwarzkopf "Shuttle Loop" coasters. It was purchased from the park in 2002 and taken to Discovery Kingdom where it remained in storage until the 2005-06 off season when parts of the track were taken to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom for the ride Greezed Lightnin’. There are currently no plans announced to build and operate the ride at Discovery Kingdom and it would be nearly impossible to rebuild it because the loop is now in Kentucky. The ride was removed from storage at the park before the 2007 season. Its location is unknown.
