[edit] Oregon
I reverted your last edit to Oregon because it seems to have duplicated much of the article (everything from "Economy" down). The first of the two revisions did what you wanted (added 1941 to the list of films), but please look at the current revision to make sure nothing you intended to stay in got lost. [edit] The Village
Hello, I noticed you added the following information to the trivia section of the article The Village (film):
"In several scenes, a boom mike can clearly be seen at the top of the screen."
I have since integrated sourced information in the trivia section into the rest of the article, but haven't been able to find a source for the boom mike claim. This is relevant and interesting information, and I would like to integrate it back into the article if possible, so I would appreciate it if you had any information regarding a reliable source for this. Thanks. Sbacle 16:36, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
A review of the film by Roger Ebert mentioning this would certainly be a reliable source. The site you linked to says the original review is at salon.com and you have to register to read it. I can't do that right now since I'm at work (don't tell my boss!) I'll look around online a bit to see if I can find the original review somewhere else. Thanks for the help. [edit] The Up Series
Hello Graymornings. I have been following your posts of the talk page for the Up Series and I just wanted to let you know that, based on my experience here at wikipedia, I don't think that the vandalism has reached a level that they would consider protecting the page at this time. The "criticisms" editor seems to have finally gone after their last attempt to insert their POV rant. You may have noticed that this attempt to enter it included a nasty postscript. If they keep that up they can be blocked. The blanking vandalism may or may not have come from the same source but it hasn't been repeated for a few days. Page protection usually only occurs when there is constant vandalism from multiple sources. In case this does occur you can make a report at WP:RFP and an admin will decide whether to protect it or not. Until them I think our keeping an eye on it will suffice, although I know how frustrating it can be to go to your checklist and see it vandalized. Hang in there and keep up the good work.
