[edit] welcome to my talk page

Because of school, Grandoldman will not be very active on weekdays, but should be back editing voraciously on weekends (except while doing homework).

Welcome to Wikipedia, Grandoldman! I am Stormtracker94 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! No problem. I could adopt you if you need any help. I've been here for about 9 months and could answer any questions you would have about Wikipedia. If you think this is a good idea, just leave me a message. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 17:06, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Sure. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 15:01, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Put {{CURRENTDATE}} where ever you want on the page. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 15:06, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Click "Upload file" under toolbox. There should be a very good instruction there, and you can upload an image. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 16:08, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
That was actually kind of outdated, I now manage a website with freewebs. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 15:57, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Talk pages

Please don't remove comments from talk pages, even your own, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Adopt-a-User, especially if other users have replied to you. By doing so, you make the conversation confusing to those who read replies without seeing the original message. I've restored your message to that page.

Additionally, it's generally considered bad form to clear your talk page unless you archive the messages, since other users may wish to see what has been said in the past, without having to dig through the history to find it. Please remember this, in the future.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, and I'll help you however I can. Thank you for your time. --Sopoforic (talk) 22:47, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sockpuppets

A sockpuppet is when a user creates an account and uses it, then uses another account abusively (e.g. vandalism, voting twice in discussions). Any suspected sockpuppet should be reported at the suspected sockpuppets page. Here, users will look over the case and try to see if the alleged sockpuppet is actually one. Then, if the sockpuppet is confirmed, an administrator will indefinitely block the sockpuppet and the account that used it. If you want a very detailed explanation, see WP:SOCKPUPPET. [edit] Userpage

Looks like you put a <nowiki> tag on your page. This erased all of the formating, but I fixed it. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 14:15, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Me and my friend run a school newspaper (well, mostly him): [1](press 1 for a link to the site)
Well, we wrote a really controversial story, so a group of kids that we call the "cabal" threatened us, so we had to shut it down. We are making a new one, so I'll tell you about it in a week or so. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 12:57, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
It's just your IP adress. It seems you only forgot to log in. Not to worry, it does not effect you at all. It just means your particular IP address is registered to that company and many users share it. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 12:58, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
He hasn't said anything to me. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 13:03, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
The ad has been fixed. Also, what happened to rockgod162? STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 21:30, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Rock God162

I adopted him, and on his talkpage, I see that he is trying to message to a person named Jordan. Is this another user joining? I will adopt them if you want, too. STORMTRACKER 94 Go Irish! 21:07, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
