[edit] re:Advice on citing

According to WP:SOURCE, you should only cite credible Third-Party sources. That being said, I think that you are fine with just adding it. If you have any other sources (e.g. books, letters, etc.), you could cite them, but I would not avoid adding something to wikipedia just because I could not source it. I hope that that answers your question. Feel free to contact me if you need any further clarification or have any other questions. Welcome! Alphachimp talk 23:50, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] It's Mac Giolla, not MacGiolla

Hi, The subject's surname should be Mac Giolla and not MacGiolla. This is clearly laid out in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Ireland-related articles), paragraphs 1 and 3:

1 If someone used the Irish version of his or her name, and this enjoyed and enjoys widespread usage among Irish and English speakers, this should be reflected in Wikipedia. Thus, we refer to Máirtín Ó Cadhain, not "Martin Kyne"; Tomás Ó Fiaich, not "Thomas Fee", etc.
3 In Irish orthography, there is a space between Mac and the rest of the surname, e.g. Seán Mac Eoin, Seán Mac Stíofáin etc. In English orthography, there is no space between the Mc or Mac and the rest of the surname.

I'll propose to have the move reverted. (I notice that Seán Mac Stíofáin has also been moved incorrectly).--Damac 15:20, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] an invitation

How's it going? I've seen you around various pages relating to Irish Music, and so would like to invite you to become a part of WikiProject Irish Music, a WikiProject which aims to expand and improve coverage of Irish Music and Musicians on Wikipedia. We'd love it if you considered joining us!

I notice that you're an active contributor to articles concerning irish music, and wonder if you'd be interested in joining this WikiProject? Your input would be most welcome! --Kaini 04:36, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nenagh Ormond

Hi... there are a number of these, then. Wherever it points, it should not point to irish. Maybe Ireland? I'll switch those that I find... if you see any others, please don't hesitate to change them yourself, but not to Irish. "Irish" is a disambiguation page, and should not have incoming links. I spent most of the morning disambiguating about 300 of them. Thanks for letting me know. --Storkk 11:16, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AutoWikiBrowser

Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. Regrettably, I have declined your request as you do not have 500 mainspace edits. You are welcome to apply again at a later time. Feel free to contact me with any questions, alphachimp. 21:21, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Talk pages

Please try to reserve comments on talk pages to those that improve the article and its content and move it in a better, well-cited and sourced direction, unlike those you placed on the Ron Paul talk page. Thanks!--Gloriamarie 06:26, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

No problem, I don't want to ruffle any feathers either, but I just didn't see how that theory contributed to moving the discussion forward. He's certainly not a neo-Nazi, and he actually did get quite a bit of media support after he raised more than almost any other Republican candidate last quarter. He's been all over my TV the last week. Barack Obama's support does not come from being endorsed by Fidel Castro, for instance.--Gloriamarie 09:19, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
