The Echo Arcade script that enabled people at the site to freely play browser based games is has a lot to it. The script is from Av Arcade, but it heavily modified to work beyond the AV arcade limits. Echo Arcade was the third site to use this script in the world, but now there has been 1000's scattered along the internet. It's a very common script because unlike the high costs of other scripts, AV arcade is officially a free script.

Echo Arcade was re-designed and optimized as the "free" script obvious had it's problems. It is the most successful Av arcade site in the world. Not only in profit, but in page load speed, looks, and traffic.
