I created this page because there were previously pages at both Gray's monitor, Butaan and Varanus olivaceus. The merge proposal is here. I used the shorter version of the text from the two pages, because the longer looked like a possible copyright violation, and the shorter simply a summary of the longer version. I also added a taxobox and a few wikilinks. See the histories of the two redirects for authorship of the current version. Enuja 17:51, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
