Is Onychomys in the correct subfamily? Isn't it Sigmodontinae? TeamZissou 23:42, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- Musser and Carleton (2005; Mammal Spp. of the World 3) split the New World rats and mice into three subfamilies Neotominae, Tylomyinae, and Sigmodontinae. This was a change from their approach in the earlier version (Musser and Carleton, 1993; MSW 2) where all NW rats and mice were in one subfamily. --Aranae 00:42, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
