[edit] Horace Cleveland

Isn't this the system that Horace Cleveland designed in the 1880s? It would add a lot to this article to have information on Cleveland's landmark design, which in turn inspired cities throughout the Midwest, including Omaha, Iowa City, Des Moines and Denver to do the same.
