I feel that this is purely in the opinion of the creator, and I highly doubt Ian Wilson said that which was quoted. Would you cite your source? 91.105.206.5 17:29, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

"In 1976 in Scotland, the Grand Lodge was frustrated in its attempt to expel a leading member of the Ulster Defence Association, Roddy MacDonald, from the Order, because of widespread support for the loyalist. The Order's democratic organisation makes it difficult for the Grand Lodge to overrule county or individual lodges. Other Scottish members were later convicted of smuggling guns and explosives to the UDA, although the Ulster Volunteer Force is thought to command more support among Scottish loyalists in recent years."

For such a small article this paragraph seems to be here purely to misinform readers of the Orange Lodges activities. Apart from the 2 line introduction the reader has to learn about the UDA and UVF activities before they even know simple facts about the Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland. There are no citations to these claims either. I think that this article should be include more relevant information and that the paragraph in question be deleted.
