Talk:Grand Forks International Airport

[edit] Name
I know that the airport sometimes technically bears the "Mark Andrews" moniker, but nobody really uses it. Also, the airport's website doesn't even use "Mark Andrews" once (as far as I can see). Would it be a good idea to have this article located at Grand Forks International Airport and make Mark Andrews International Airport a redirect and simply include mention of the "Mark Andrews" name in the Grand Forks International Airport article instead? --MatthewUND 22:26, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)
- My impetus to start the article here was mainly influenced by some of the radio ads put up by the TSA when they were hiring, where they used the Mark Andrews name. But the signage at the airport clearly indicates "Grand Forks International Airport." So I don't have a problem moving it in that regard... just that we should hold off on moving the article until the wiki has been upgraded to version 1.5 -- otherwise, it would be a cut-and-paste job, and we'd lose the edit history. Alternatively, we could get an admin to move the page straight away. --Alexwcovington (talk) 03:03, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I moved the page. If the redirect has no history but a redirect, you can move the page without needing to delete anything. Burgundavia (✈ take a flight?) 19:00, Jun 16, 2005 (UTC)
